![]() ![]() The rail option would require taking the 747 shuttle bus from Montreal station to the airport. As I am flying to Europe I want to check in at 6pm at the latest. I don’t have knowledge of road traffic conditions in the area or how reliable he train service is to decide. I was wondering if any option was considered “safer” in terms of making it to the airport in time. I could take either but the bus is more expensive. I have researched the two options – bus/coach or train (currently, for the times selected: Rail: $34.00 + $10 for shuttle = $44 Bus: $68.30 + $5 for luggage = $73.30) Summertime usually sees at least a few weeks of heatwave-level temperature, but the average temperature sits somewhere around 77 degrees F.I will be visiting Montreal and Quebec city later this year and at the end of my stay travel from Quebec City to Montreal airport. The winter months usually consist of several snowstorms, with at least a foot of snow on the ground on any given day temperature usually sits around 14 degrees F but can drop as low as minus 40 degrees F. Weather and climate: Weather in Quebec City ranges from extreme cold to acute heat, with very little in between (spring and fall usually only last a few weeks). You’ll need to rent a car or download Uber for longer trips outside of downtown public transit is available but is considerably sparse compared to other big cities. Getting around: Cyclo Services rents a wide variety of bikes, which is the quickest and easiest way to get around the downtown core.Language: French and English while both are official languages in Canada, the majority of people in Quebec City speak French .Alternatively, if you want to experience the iconic winter festivals, book a trip in February (and bring a good jacket). Best time to visit: Depending on what you’re hoping to see and do, the best time to visit Quebec City is between June to August, when the weather is temperate and festival season is in full swing. ![]()
